Actually they started the Gen III in 97 with aluminum blocks as well. I have no problem with it as long as we know it is a Gen III. I can get all the casting numbers for them so if someone comes out with one the casting numbers on the block have to be where I can walk up and read them. It is the racers responsibility to prove what he has, not my job to make it a research project. Again, I will reiterate that with a minimum weight and a breakout in the class it is a dead issue as to all the motor rules. Why is this concept so difficult to get everyone to see. This is supposed to be an entry level class, a stepping stone to work up. Anyone wants to go faster, they can, move up a class!
